At VeloLogicStudio, we use Wix Velo to build custom booking engines and Stripe-integrated payment systems for small businesses that want more control, automation, and flexibility than Wix's built-in tools can offer.

Stripe API Integration – Online and In-Person
We replaced Wix's default checkout system with a direct integration to the full Stripe API, allowing for:
✔️ Flexible payment flows, including links, deposits, and installments
✔️ Stripe Checkout embedded directly into Wix with custom metadata
✔️ Support for Stripe POS hardware to accept in-person payments at events
With Wix now charging 2.5% per ticket sold via its Events app, many event-based businesses are switching to custom Stripe-based checkouts to regain control over pricing and fees.

Advanced Online Booking System
We built a fully customized booking engine that handles more than just reservations. The system includes:
✔️ Upsell logic for items like aprons, sake tastings, and desserts
✔️ Co-organizer fields for corporate or group bookings
✔️ Self-service rescheduling and cancellation tools
✔️ Dynamic pricing rules based on event type or guest count

Custom Apron Designer (Booking Add-On)
As part of our upsell strategy, we created an interactive apron designer directly within the booking process. Guests can customize fonts, colors, and upload logos (including from Google Image search integration).
This not only enhances customer experience, but also increases average order value — perfect for team-building events and personalized gifts.

AI-Enhanced Gift Card Messages (Booking Workflow Enhancement)
Gift card sales are often impulsive — and writing a message can be a blocker. To address this, we implemented an AI-powered message enhancer that helps customers write fun, heartfelt, or even humorous messages with just a click.
This subtle UX upgrade improves conversion rates and elevates your brand’s emotional connection with customers.

We built an AI-powered virtual assistant that integrates with our booking system to answer real-time questions and retrieve guest-specific reservation info. It handles:

This tool reduces support requests and helps guests feel taken care of — even outside of business hours.
